The Tallinn Fringe Festival, which begins on August 18th, 2025, invites performing arts professionals to two professional development events. On August 18th, at 17:00, artists are invited to attend the meeting “The world’s second largest arts festival and how to take part,” and on August 23rd, at 16:30, to the discussion “Open the door to a career in outdoor arts”. Both events will be held in English and are free of charge.
The meeting “The world’s second largest arts festival and how to take part” will discuss the Adelaide Fringe Festival in Australia, and artists interested in performing at the festival are welcome to attend. The panel discussion will feature Adelaide Fringe CEO and documentary film producer Heather Croall, freelance cultural critic Andrei Liimets, and Tallinn Fringe director Dan Renwick, who was born in Australia but has been working in Estonia since 2011. The meeting will take place at the theater bar Heldeke!
The discussion “Open the door to a career in outdoor arts” is aimed at artists who are interested in developing a career in the field of outdoor arts. The discussion will feature Portuguese director, dancer, and artist Rodrigo Vilarinho, Finnish dancer and educator Annu Ronkainen, and artist, producer, and performer Amelia Cadwallader. The conversation will be moderated by Tallinn Fringe director Dan Renwick (aka Dan le Man). The event will take place at the Fraqmented co-working space (Pikk 7, Tallinn).
