Drama of Smaller European Languages (DoSEL)

Drama of Smaller European Languages (DoSEL) is an international project focused on translating and developing plays written in smaller European languages. The project is a collaboration between eight European cultural organizations from Malta, Spain, Croatia, Estonia, Kosovo, Bulgaria, and Slovenia.

Gothenburg Bookfair 2025

In 2025, the Gothenburg Book Fair in Sweden will focus on Scandinavian and Baltic playwriting and will involve the Estonian Theatre Agency in the preparation of the programme, so that Estonian dramaturgy will be on the main stage of one of the largest cultural events in Scandinavia.

The Baltic Drama Forum

The Baltic Drama Forum is a festival and meet-up for theatre professionals that takes place in a different Baltic state each year. The main goals are to introduce new plays based on original dramaturgy, promote contacts between theatre people and create possibilities for reciprocally staging each other’s plays.

Baltic Current

Baltic Current (2021–2023) was a platform for encountering and sharing that focuses on human, economic, and ecological aspects of sustainable development of the contemporary performing arts sector in the Baltic region. It started as an initiative of Gertrudes ielas teatris (Riga, LV), Kaunas City Chamber Theatre (Kaunas, LT) dance performance and development centre Sõltumatu Tantsu Lava (Tallinn, EE) and Goethe Institute, supported by Nordic-Baltic Mobility Program for Culture.
