Estonian-Slovenian collaboration Fun Fact premiered in Ljubljana

On December 1st 2023, Fun Fact, a collaboration between the Estonian trio of Juhan Ulfsak, Eero Epner and Mart Kangro and the Slovenian group Beton Ltd (Branko Jordan, Katarina Stegnar and Primož Bezjak) premiered at the Stara mestna elektrarna in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

"And the next question is: in what year happened? How many were there? Did anyone survived or nobody did? Human being is a creature asking question. We wanna ask. And sometimes we want to give also the right answers. But only sometimes. Fun Fact is celebration of knowledge and logical thinking. We are sailing on the ocean of facts, blowing wind into the sails of deduction and avoiding the rocks of being mistaken. Before there’s no more time the right answer must be found. Five. Four. Three. Two. One. The time is up! Up!" says the introduction of Fun Fact.

Fun Fact is created by one the most known names in Slovenian theatre Katarina Stegnar and Primož Bezjak plus Estonian team Mart Kangro, Juhan Ulfsak and Eero Epner. Instead of concentrating on the common past of two countries, the performance addresses what it is, that unites us in the first place.

Fun Fact is co-produced by Kanuti Gildi SAAL (Estonia) and Bunker (Slovenia).
