Estonian Dance Agency Company to perform at Edinburgh Festival Fringe

LOOP, the newest work by the Estonian Dance Agency Company, will premiere today, on August 5th, 2025 at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

The dance performance LOOP, created by the young artists Daniela Privis, Marko Reitalu, Juulius Vaiksoo, and Mariann Onkel, delves into the dual nature of social media – the blessing and curse of our time – exploring how we divide and direct our attention in this endless flow of information and to what extent we allow ourselves to be influenced by it all.

Together with short performances by National Youth Dance Company of Scotland (choregraphed by Anna Kenrick and directed by Philippa Clark) and Project Y Evolution Company (choregraphed by Dr Mitul Sengupta and Dr Shambik Ghose), the piece belongs to the Evolution programme, performed at the Dance Base in Edinburgh from August 5th to 10th, 2025.

For the Estonian Dance Agency, this is the second time to appear at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with Igor Lider and Eliisa Sirelpuu having presented their works at the 2023 edition.
