Dance Week 2025 announced an open call

From April 23rd to 29th, 2025, the Dance Week 2025 (Tantsunädal 2025) will take place in Viljandi, Estonia and program ideas that engage with dance in one way or another are being welcomed. Ideas can be submitted to Dance Week until October 20th, 2024.

"Dance Week is a week-long celebration of dance art, during which Viljandi County will be flooded with various manifestations and possibilities of dance. There will be dance for everyone interested in seeing, watching, listening, discussing, and, of course, dancing," reads the introduction of Dance Week.

Dance Week offers performance spaces, locally available technical equipment, technical and organizational support, as well as advertising. However, Dance Week does not provide technical service for performances/events (e.g. sound or light technicians), accommodation, catering, or transportation.

In 2025, the festival will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Dance Week. The event is organized by NGO OMA Stuudio and the University of Tartu Viljandi Culture Academy.
