CPPM to offer professional development workshops led by internationally celebrated artists and companies

CPPM – MA in Contemporary Physical Performance Making at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre has announced a series of Professional Development Workshops for the autumn season 2025, explicitly created for emerging and established actors, dancers, performers, directors, choreographers, performance makers and interdisciplinary artists.
These workshops provide a rare and exciting opportunity for deep artistic exploration and skills development within a stimulating and physically dynamic studio environment. Led by internationally celebrated artists and companies, each workshop immerses participants in diverse methodologies, training methods and creative practices, fostering new, exciting perspectives in contemporary theatre and performance.
Participants collaborate closely with the CPPM MA programme’s diverse international student community, currently comprising 16 artists from 13 countries, offering an exciting setting for intercultural dialogue, creative exchange, and lasting professional connections.

- 15–26 September | Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch – Eddie Martinez (2 weeks)
- 29 September – 10 October | Gecko – Lucia Chocarro and Katie Lusby (2 weeks)
- 13–18 October | Mirko Rajas and Taavi Tõnisson (1 week)
- 27 October – 1 November | Roel Swanenberg and Arjan Gebraad (1 week)
- 3–8 November | Jeremy Nedd (1 week)
- 24–29 November | Clément Layes (1 week)
- 1–6 December | Mart Kangro (1 week)
- 8–19 December | Peader Kirk (2 weeks)
Workshop hours: Daily 11:00–14:00 and 15:30–19:00
Location: Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, Tallinn, Estonia
There are only a few spots available for each workshop, so early application is highly encouraged.
