The NGO Taarka Pärimusteater was established on October 03, 2006. The society’s main objective is to maintain and develop seto culture through heritage theatre and enrich the entire Southern Estonian cultural space.
The theatre’s mission is to help preserve seto culture by introducing it to the wider audience through the means and possibilities theatre awards and to support community members in valuing seto culture through theatrical activities.
The leaders of Taarka Pärimusteater are director Helena Kesonen and the managing director Kelly Kittus.
