A 20-year-old girl is sentenced to a lifetime in prison. In years, she gets amnesty and becomes free again. Fourteen years have passed - the years that the play is about with a young woman and her prison guard as characters.
A strange story about love and a piece of happiness.
Is it worth to sacrifice your own little happiness to high ideals?
Peeter: What about you - are you happy?
Maria: Yes, I am.
Peeter: And you do not regret that fourteen years of your life have gone for ever? The most beautiful years.
Maria: Of course I regret it! And I will revenge it! And when I have revenged, I'll be happy!
The play has two acts.
