The yearbook of Estonian theatre statistics 2010

Estonian theatres in co-operation with the Ministry of Culture and the Estonian Theatre Agency publish the collection reflecting the annual activities of theatres for the seventh time. In this years publication comparative data from 2004–2010 is also presented.

The publication comprises different aspects of theatre, consisting of three sub-sections: repertoire statistics, statistics of performances and visitors and economic statistics. Statistical data collected represents the results of the year 2010, not the season of theatres. The publication provides the list of new productions and the whole repertoire of the year 2010, as well as short overviews of the theatres.

The yearbook “Estonian Theatre Statistics 2010” includes data from 25 state, municipal and private theatres and from 4 dance agencies. 23 theatres reflected in the publication get annual activity subsidies from the Ministry of Culture. Thus only the activities of professional theatres have been reflected there. The present publication provides an overview of amateur theatres compiled by Kristiina Oomer, President of the Estonian Amateur Theatre Association (EHL).
