Theatres

The Russian Theatre of Estonia is a professional Russian-language theatre. Performances include contemporary Russian and western plays, Russian classics, Estonian drama, and even children's fairy tales. Located in the heart of the city, the building boasts an elegant interior and is often used for formal gatherings, music and poetry evenings, presentations and salon evenings. Guest performances by well-known Russian troupes and performers are also held here. All the performances are held in Russian language with the simultaneous translation available in Estonian.

Since 2024, the managing director of the theatre is Anne-Lii Päiv and the artistic director Dmitri Petrenko.
