On August 28th, the contemporary dance performance "Piiride puudutus" ("Touch of Borders") will take place on the rooftop of Aparaaditehas in Tartu. This performance revisits the site and spirit of a four-hour improvisational work created one year ago — this time presented in a different format. Audience members are invited to experience the full work from beginning to end.

This site-specific performance explores the evolution of borders — emotional, spatial, and symbolic — through a return to a previously performed location. One year later, we re-enter the same rooftop. What has shifted in the body, in the world, and in the audience? The work does not aim to re-stage, but rather to re-touch, respond, and re-question.

We warmly invite the audience to meet us where the borders begin to blur — in a moment of quiet crossing.

The roof of the Aparaadithehas, with its open and boundless sky, creates an ideal environment for reflecting on these themes.
