The young St Petersburg playwright and director Boris Pavlovich stages a play about the events of the Bronze Night. He has involved Estonian and Russian journalists, sociologists, cultural and social figures. His task is not only to interpret what happened, but convey this into aesthetic categories or in other words - taking the dialogue between the fighting sides, the conflict and the arguments on to another level.
The play's documentary structure enables him to approach the events from vastly different aspects, to create depth, refer to the future. This production should actually become a kind of monument to the events that shook the republic. A monument that would not mark the triumph of one or the other political concept, but creates History instead.
