Son of Reille´s has punched out two teeth from Bruno - son of Houille´s. In
order to settle the fight between the boys, two, middle-class marriage
couple of Paris, will meet. Pleasant evening, which started so nicely, gets
more and more tense . Masks will fall, real values in life will appear,
spicy details in personal realtions will reaveal. Some situations feel
awfully familiar...maybe we see ourselves in these?

Reza claims herself to be writing funny tragedies, but audience and critics
often see them as good comedies. In any case „Tapatöö Jumal” will offer us
lots of comedy, but the main goal for author and director is to make us
think. About what? Maybe about the fact that marriage is more fragile than
we think.

Yasmina Reza is being called a superstar of Europian theathres. She is most
directed french dramaturgist at the moment who has won all important french
and english drama awards. Out of her seven masterpieces Estonian theatres
have directed and played two-„Kunst” (Eesti Draamateater 1998 ja Ugala
2008) and „Kolm versiooni elust” (Endla Teatris 2002).
Priemere of „Tapatöö Jumal” took place in Zurich on 8th of December 2006.
In January 2008, Reza, who´s profession happens to be an actress, directed
"Tapatöö Jumal" herself in Paris. In 18 months this play has conquered
dozens of stages in Europe (London,Vienna, Berlin, Munich, Hamburg,
Ljubljana, Helsinki etc.)
