The dance and performance artists of the Lemoot company create a visual chamber performance for the hiking and heritage culture festival Winter Trails in Ahunapalu, which deals with the longing and urge of leaving and returning home.

I wake up in gentle silence, to go. The door opens to the crispness of morning. Steam rising from the lips. Winter blush on the cheeks. I wake up to go across the white plains, through the forest, across the river. To follow the beaten path. To step on fresh snow. The iridescence of the sun in my laughter lines. An endless road and cold. I woke up to go. But now I’m ready to go home. Back to the warmth of it. I woke up to go, but now I want to go home.

The performance takes place by Ahunapalu prayer house in a heated tent to a small audience.
