For five evenings, the Nobel Hall in Noblessner will host the contemporary opera "Hydrogen Jukebox" by Philip Glass, one of the world's most performed composers. For the first time, the Estonian audience can experience a work with a libretto written by the revolutionary beat poet Allen Ginsberg.
Philip Glass's music takes us on a wild journey, addressing themes from love and rebellion to anti-war sentiments and political resistance. It is a wild ride through the iconic events of the 20th century.
In a captivating visual spectacle, under the direction of Grammy winner conductor Tõnu Kaljuste, top Estonian soloists and musicians meet.
The performance is in English and Estonian, with subtitles.
