PINK: You are one hard worker, Gerhard. But tell us where you lived before coming here?
GERHARD: I tried here and there - didn't like it anywhere. Either I didn't like the people or the nature, landscapes. What else was I to do but leave.
PINK: And you laboured like this everywhere.
GERHARD: Everywhere! Everywhere where there was something broken or not working - I helped to fix it.
PINK: Did anyone at least say thank you?
GERHARD: Some didn't even do that. Not that I needed it.
LEONTIINE: Did you meet many beautiful widows on your journey?
GERHARD: Well... beautiful widows are not the only reason why I am wondering around the world. I have been searching for a home of my own. A place, where I could work in peace and when the time comes - die.
