The members of Nälkäteatteri are Helsinki-based performers who have made their mark in alternative theatre and performance art. The group's aesthetics aim to widen the limits of human experience and the body towards non-human states of being and realms of alien experience. The non-verbal drama exercises, performed by the group, focus on the body in metamorphosis. Aniara is a story of a spaceship and its passengers during a long and desperate voyage.
During the performance the audience can test these techniques and gadgets made for space conditions.
