Playwrights

Silvia Soro is an actress, playwright, dramaturge, stage director and theatre educator. She is a member of the Estonian Theatre Union and the Estonian Actors' Association since 1998. She graduated from the Viljandi Culture College in 1997 with a degree in acting and in 2010 she completed a master's degree in theatre pedagogy at the School of Drama at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. In addition to plays, she has written screenplays, lyrics and dramatised several literary works. Her work is characterised by buoyant imagination and a playful use of language.
