Playwrights
Kristiina Jalasto-Kallas
Kristiina Jalasto-Kallas is an Estonian dramaturg, playwright and stage manager. Jalasto-Kallas studied dramaturgy in the Estonian Academy of Theatre and Music from 2008 to 2012. In 2012, she started working as a dramaturg in the Tallinn City Theatre and since 2014 has been a stage manager in the same theatre. She has also translated many plays from Portuguese to Estonian. Jalasto-Kallas has written youth plays, texts that focus on the Estonian cultural heritage and folklore but also more about current topics like the war.
