Playwrights

Ivar Põllu is a musician, playwright and theatre practitioner. From 1992, Põllu studied theatre studies and graduated with a BA in 1999. He founded Tartu Uus Theatre in 2008, which he led until 2015, and now serves as creative director. His work avoids routine, and with each piece he seeks to redefine the novelty that he strives for.
