Enn Vetemaa was a writer and composer. In 1959 he graduated from Tallinn Polytechnic Institute as a chemical engineer and in 1965 from Tallinn State Conservatory with a degree in music composition. He was a member of both the Estonian Composers' and Writers' Union. In his works he has explored Estonian mythological motifs. His particular strength lies in short forms. His writings are characterised by clever, short and concise sentences.
