Diana Leesalu is a writer, playwright and stage director. In 2012, she graduated as a dramaturge from the XXV class of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre's Drama School and in the same year went to work at the Tallinn City Theatre, where she still works as a director and dramaturge. In her work, she tackles painful social and societal issues with sincerity and frankness. In addition to writing plays, she has dramatised world literature, written prose and directed performances.
