Playwrights

Andri Luup is a playwright, actor and director who also has an eye for film. He studied art pedagogy at Tallinn Pedagogical University and drama at the Estonian Institute of Humanities in 1992-1997. He has subsequently worked as an artist, scriptwriter, director, actor and writer. In 2008, he founded and still directs the film studies department at the Vanalinna Hariduskolleegium. He is also a lecturer in dramaturgy for the XXX class at the Drama School of Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. In his work, he dissects deep existential and universal experiences with interest and dedication, seeking unexpected metaphors for them.
